OPEN POSITIONS
Here's a brief overview of each of our open positions...
COMMISSIONERS
(6 volunteers needed)

Monitor sign ups for assigned division and determine number of teams

Confirm Coaches for each Team

Coordinate Player Pool for assigned division

Occasionally check in with Coaches throughout the season

Time Commitment: Pre-season (late February-late March) - 1-4 hours per week. In season - less than 1 hour per week
ALL STAR SPONSOR COORDINATOR
(1 volunteer needed)

Secure sponsorships for the All Star Game

Collect necessary marketing information from All Star Sponsors
-
Time Commitment: Varies - typically a total of a few hours. The work for this position can be done anytime but sponsors must be confirmed by June
EQUIPMENT MANAGER
(1-2 volunteers needed)

Inventory League owned equipment and determine replacement needs

Order replacement equipment

Pack Team equipment bags
-
Coordinate equipment pick up and return for Coaches

Time Commitment: Pre season (late February - late March) - 1 hour or less per week. In season - occasionally address replacement needs for Teams
HEAD UMPIRES
(multiple volunteers needed)

Assist in training youth umpires

Occasionally monitor games and give feedback to Umpires

Answer rules questions from Coaches and Umpires

This position requires solid knowledge of baseball and/or softball rules

Umpiring experience is helpful

CONCESSION COORDINATOR
(1-2 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED)

Hire and manage student employees including a Concession Manager

Maintain personal and food safety standards in Concession Stand

Manage inventory and coordinate ordering

Communicate with vendors

Schedule volunteer grillers​

Time Commitment: Flexible to availability and number of volunteers. Our Concession Manager is a college student who has experience in the concession stand - a great person to delegate tasks to!
